world and carried with it the image and fame of this beautiful beach.

As the fame of this beach comes mainly from its lively nightlife, fueled by the Girl from Ipanema, Posto 9 (Lifeguard 9) is one of the most popular places, at Rua Vinícius de Morais (name of the singer and
composer of this song).

As well as Copacabana, Ipanema offers visitors a good and varied range of hotels and restaurants, from expensive hotels to some cheaper options.
Local commerce is also quite varied and there are also world brands and gems stores.
