Carnival 2022

The City Hall of the city of Rio authorized the holding of Carnival in 2022.

"The mayor of Rio de Janeiro, Eduardo Paes, said this Sunday (Oct 3, 2021) that in 2022 he intends to carry out without distancing measures the Rio Carnival, which this year was suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Rio's New Year Eve

Rio starts preparing New Year's Eve 2022 with a party forecast in Copacabana and ten other locations The Carioca New Year's Specifications were launched today so that companies interested in promoting the party can obtain all the details of the event. According to Riotur, two tenders will still be open for the hiring of companies responsible for the rafts and fireworks.
