Boats to Vila Abraão, Ilha Grande's main conurbation, leave from the pier, in the center of Angra dos Reis. There are shuttle buses that leave from the Angra dos Reis bus station, or maybe even better is taking a taxi.

The city of Paraty, in the extreme south of the Costa Verde, is a destination that combines history, beaches, gastronomy and literature.
