African, Indian and European influences
In Brazil, Carnival is always a great national feast. Actually, in no other
country this feast has the importance it does in Brazil. Another particularity
of Brazil Carnival is that, mixing the three biggest influences that compose
our people and our culture, it has something unique: it synthetizes rythms
of African origin, choregraphy of native Indian tribus and christian and
pagan traditions.
