Without
all the fame of its decane Copacabana, Ipanema
Beach, in the borough with the same name, in a very short time
became as well known as its older sister, and nowadays is the prefered
beach of cariocas who are in and of tourists.
Well
known all over the world, Copacabana
beach is, automatically, the very first beach that all foreign visitors
go to see. Surely, actually, it is mainly to visit one of the city's post
cards, because in the week-ends and on holidays the beach is very crowded.
The
Fernando de Noronha Island is a true ecological sanctuary. Actually,
all the island is a National Park and an Area for the Protection
of the Environment. Its beaches, due to this fact, are said to be
Brazil's most beautiful beaches.
Part
of the Discovery Coast of Bahia, Porto Seguro and its neighbouring
beaches have always been the prefered ones of those who love Brazil's
beautiful beaches, specially during the Carnival.
In
spite of the difficulties to get there, Jericoacoara is the most
in of all Ceará's beaches, and, even of Brazil's beaches. This
is also true for foreigners, particularly Americans, who love Jeri.
The
Genipabu beach, in the Natal's neighbourhood, in Rio Grande do
Norte State, is one of the most prefered for lovers of good beaches: dunes
and lagoons complete the landscape.
Porto
de Galinhas and its natural swiming pools has become in a few years
one of the most cheerful beaches of Pernambuco State. It is veary
easy to get there because the beach is not far away from Recife.
Búzios,
the international, is the most in of all Rio de Janeiro's beaches. The
night at Búzios begins only at 2 o'clock of the morning... There
is a good highway to get there or it is possible to go by little plane.
The
so called Beach of the Frenchman, Praia do Francês,
in Maceió, the capital of Alagoas State (AL) attracts
many visitors. The lagoons of Maceió and those along the
seaside are also some reasons for that preference.
The
beach of Castanheiras, at Guarapari, in the Espírito
Santo State, is the prefered beach for most mineiros, the inhbaitants
of Minas Gerais, and others visitors that live in the neighbouring States.
