Mountains and Sea
The landscape of the Angra dos Reis region is fantastic: at the horizon line, a blue and splendid sea. A near strip of land and, in the back, the majesty of the Serra do Mar and its exuberant vegetation. When you come by the road (the Rio - Santos Road) you will admire these beautiful landscapes, as the road goes alongside the seaside.

Angra is for sailing and diving
Angra's major attractions (besides New Year and Carnival) are the tours on sailors to its many beautiful islands and diving. So, if you are fond of these activities include Angra dos Reis in your journey to Rio de Janeiro.

How to Get There
There is a regular service of coaches from Rio de Janeiro to Angra in normal or air conditioning buses. It will take you about 1h30 - 2h to get there.


Where to Stay
In the Angra dos Reis regions there are luxury (including safari, heliport and much more) and eco resorts (trekking, walking, sailing, fitness center and other activities), besides very good and comfortable hotels. It is, however, a good idea booking in advance. Specially during holiday and vacations periods.
