Foz do Iguaçu (State of Paraná), is known to be one of the world's most beautiful falls. Situated at the Iguaçu River, at the border of three countries (Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay), these fantastic falls (some 276) are visited by millions of people from everywhere.

How to get there
The best options are from São Paulo and southern capitals (Curitiba, Porto Alegre). Visitors from other continents can get there with connections in other Brazilian major cities (Rio de Janeiro, etc).

From Southeastern capitals (Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Curitiba) , it is possible to get there by the road (coaches or car hiring). From Rio, it will take some 22 hours to reach Foz do Iguaçu by road.


What to do
Foz do Iguaçu's major attractions are its falls, of course. But, there is the National Park to see also. Tropical luxuriant vegetation, animals and birds can be seen by visitors. There are casinos beyond the Argentinian and Paraguayan borders

Catarata's tours are proposed by tour operators to discover the falls inside them. Very exciting!
