Brazil's Main Gateway

Since a long time ago Rio de Janeiro has always been one of the most visited places in Brazil, for tourism as well as for business purposes (industry, oil and gas). The City of Rio de Janeiro, or simply Rio, Brazil's former Capital, is a pleasant city where mountain, tropical forest and sea meet. Plenty of attractions - beaches, Corcovado, Sugar Loaf, Carnival - make of the State's Capital one of Brazil most interesting cities.

The Land of Carnival and Nice Beaches

Any doubt that Rio's Carnival and nice beaches are among the major reasons visitors come here. Among these later, Copacabana, Ipanema, Búzios and Angra dos Reis are the prefered ones.

The Doorway to the Hinterland

Because of its privileged situation, Rio de Janeiro is also an important doorway to discover Brazil's hinterland (Minas Gerais, Goiás and beyond).
